Years ago he used a fella who cut the ripples and seam them back together. Not the best way to do the repair. The proper way is to leave the carpet intact and instead power stretches it to drum tight. Carpet ripples are sometimes called carpet waves or carpet bubbles. Whatever you call them they cause a tripping hazard and are bad for the backing of the carpet. Thanks Gerald!.
